Dorset 4 Democracy

Dorset 4 Democracy is the new guise of the Dorset electoral and democratic reform organisation at which Richard is Membership Secretary.
It aims to be a communications based campaign organisation. Through investigation, blogging, and links with local campaigns we hope to show how democracy abused, can result in dire consequences for the local population. You just have to look at the poor housing in Boscombe and the Charles Street grand project in Dorchester to see how badly people are treated from vested interests abusing due democratic process.
He built the site above. The organisation hopes to drive home the importance of local views in local politics, and help drive the UK in some small part to a future where our leaders defer to the public and serve as opposed to 'lead' from their own opinions.
The UK Alternative Vote Yes Campaign

In D4D's previous guise as Fair Votes for Dorset helped the national campaign for the Alternative Vote ahead of the disastrous referendum On May 5 2011. Bruised but not knocked out, the campaign is pulling its socks up to push for a referendum on electoral reform in 2016.
